Final tabulations of CREVALLE'S WW II confirmed war record showed that 10 Japanese ships were sunk, plus one assist, for a total tonnage of 60,480 tons and 10 ships were severely damaged for a total tonnage of 33,306 tons.

    CREVALLE was awarded the Navy Unit Commendation Medal for her first four war patrols and in addition she earned four battle stars on the Asiatic-Pacific Service medal.

    After a repair period in the Brooklyn Navy Yard, CREVALLE reported to New London Connecticut her assigned homeport, on 27 March 1946. She cruised to the Canal Zone and the Virgin Islands before being placed out of commission in reserve on 20 July 1946 with her berth at the Submarine Base, New London CT. It should be noted that the following plank holders can truly call CREVALLE their second home as they put the submarine in commission on June 24, 1943 serving on her continuously for 7 war patrols and were present at her first decommissioning.
